Connecticut environmental regulators have given a proposed 63.3 megawatt fuel-cell powered energy generation complex in Beacon Falls the final permit it needs, the manager of the project said Tuesday.
The state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection issued an air permit for the construction and operation of the Beacon Falls Energy Park, said William Corvo, manager of the project.
“It is the last major step in the permitting of the Beacon Falls Energy Park and marks a major milestone in the development of the project,” Corvo said. “It specifies the terms and conditions for the operation of the equipment to comply with state and federal air quality standards.”
